The Council of Europe and the Consulate General of Japan in Strasbourg co-organize an online seminar on intercultural integration in municipal contexts. This seminar is most useful for local governments’ staffs in charge of foreign residents, in-bound management and migration policies in the Asia-Pacific region. The best practices of cities in Japan, Australia and South Korea, in particular two Japanese leading cities in migrant integration, will be presented and examined in order to figure out how to better accommodate foreign residents in their city, with the thematic focuses on the education for children with diverse backgrounds and the multilingual support for newcomers.
The participation is free, and you are kindly invited to register yourself from the link below.
